Faced with the problems of running a business staffed by mentally ill part-timers who can only work when they might feel up to it, many of them double amputees who can only get about using their imaginary wheelchairs, you can't blame employers for that! :-)

Congratulations Mayflower,
Good to see you have been moved into the support group. Thank you for giving the link for the fluctuating conditons report. I too have ME and am awaiting the dreaded letter to move to ESA but the report will help. I have gone through two tribunals to get DLA so good luck with your claim.
Well done again and I hope you can relax for a bit and enjoy your sucess.
Kind regards
Sue

Hi Sue
Thank you for your post. I wish you good fortune with your move to ESA. When I completed my ESA50 I also quoted the relevant qualifying criteria re the support group from the WCA handbook & detailed exactly how I met them.
Thanks to the inability of the DWP to resolve in time a problem with the issuing of the ESA50, referred to in another older post using a different forum name, I had to attend the WCA & take my completed ESA50 with me on the day. The HCP stopped the WAC after a few minutes & asked us to wait whilst he consulted with a colleague & then told us he didn't need to continue with the WAC & we could go home. It is possible that if the DWP/Atos processes were not set in stone I may well not have had to attend the WAC at all & have got the same result, but who knows? On the plus side it meant an outing & a change of scenery; the downside the inevitable post exertional fatigue But,I am still enjoying the after glow of success!
Best wishes to you

That is great news and I am really happy for you. Just make sure that if is income related ESA you will qualify for the Enhanced Disability Premuim if under Pension Credit age. Sometimes this is overlooked.
