:( Very unhappy today to be told by phone that my DLA has been withdrawn after a medical was done but previous award supposed to end on the 26th September!!!!!!! How can they just stop now when there is still 2 months left to go? I have sacroiliitis, osteo/rheum arthritis, overactive bladder, osteoperosis, chronic asthma, to name but a few, how can they justify that i am well???? Totally beats me............

Unfortunately when a renewal claim is returned before the expiry of the last claim, (which is an explicit instruction by the DLA Unit upon issue of the renewal claim form), the DLA decision maker is entitled to look at the subsisting award and review it if necessary, taking into account the new evidence.

Are you going to appeal the adverse decision when you receive the formal decision letter?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
