Please do not accept this comment as a point of law.
AS far as can see it their are certain benefits that are time limited living abroad.
There are so many different wordings that I am not qualified to comment.
An example is that living abroad after the assessment phase of ESA you will go on incapacity benefit.This does not apply to GB. However according to the regulations IB is not time limited.
It maybe an idea to contact the Home Office to clarify.

You need to be careful talking about benefits in this context, for example incapacity benefit refers to both ESA and IB, whereas Incapacity Benefit is a specific benefit.

So the ib and IB in your post may not refer to the same thing :)

Hi windmill,
I noticed you have posted on another Thread but it has been locked. If you read page 3 on that thread you will see see I have said how the the medical went.
I am still waiting for the dreaded letter for the results but I have rang and think it will be another few weeks before I hear. I will post when I get my results. Good luck with your medical , just read as much as you can on this site as it is good. Thank you to the moderator for allowing me to post a reply.
