Medical records

Hi Crazydiamond,
I read your post in that thread and I totally agree with what you said, that was basically what the guy from the appeals office told they me yesterday. Obviously the call was not being recorded because he said the entire system (Atos & DWP) was a disgusting shambles' treats people appalingly, then told me that they are not allowed to be biased in the decision making, have to take all information including medical records into account and it's down to them, not me, to obtain them, despite what all the other DWP staff might tell you. Im just going to wait and see now, but I contacted the legal aid helpline as Trowser suggested and their sending me out a list of organisations that will help me with form filling and also help with my case and go to tribunal with me if it comes to that. If the DWP won't obtain my medical reports, whichever company I use (probably Outreach) will pay for my medical report if they agree I should still be entitled to be in WRAG (limited capability).
Thanks to all for your advice, will see how things go and post when I have something to tell.
