i just received a phone call from income support, they asked me if there were any changes they should know about, which there are not. they asked me nothing about my illness, just wanted to know how much if any savings i had, if i had any othwer money coming in, who i lived with. Is this normal for them to ring, never had the call before and been on is for a long time. Also they never mentioned being transfered to esa so would this mean im not on the list of those being transfered at present. cheers.

Hi, I have heard of this type of review over the phone, however I would not advise anyone to give out personal information over the phone to the DWP or anybody else, unless you have rang them.

I would tell them to put their request in writing.

Are you sure it was the DWP?.

Hi,

There is plenty of evidence via Google to suggest this is a geniune JobCentre Plus number.

However regardless of that fact, I would certainly do as bro58 suggests and ask them to put their requests in writing.

Hi,

I wouldn't like to say to be honest. Other than the claimants who we know will not be migrated (such as on reaching pensionable age imminently etc) or migrated at the end of the migration period, one can expect to be migrated at any point between now and the end of the process. As to when each individual is going to be migrated it is difficult if not impossible to say. Just because it wasn't mentioned in a phone call is not really an indicator one way or the other.

Pete

Edit: Just to add, I have just remembered about someone receiving a periodic review similar to yours after receiving their ESA50 migration forms!
