box ticking esa form

box ticking esa form was created by jamie
thought i had mastered the esa form one question though on the questions ie, walking i cant walk more than 50 metre so tick that box but do i then tick for 200m question as well and the picking up and lifting i cant pick up 0.5 litre tick that do i then answer and tick no for one litre and do i tick yes or no for the lightcardboard box or do i just tick the one box confused

Hi J,

The simple answer is tick all boxes that are applicable to your limitations.

Therefore, if you tick that you can't mobilise more than 50 metres, then you should obviously tick the 200 metre box also.

Similar with the carton.

I know it is stating the obvious, but I,m afraid that you have to spell it out, and assume nothing.

thanks you would think if you tick the 50m box that would elimnate all the other questions with walking a bit ridiclous

I was told by welfare rights that you dont need to tick the 200 metre box if you have ticked the 50 metre box as you have already answered the question in the 50 metre box.

I am only repeating what i have been told so its left to each claimant what they decide.

It shouldn't be necessary to tick the 200m box if you tick the 50m 'No' box, but unlike the IB50, the ESA50 doesn't say 'tick the first box that applies', so I would tick both boxes.

Just in case a decision maker thinks you can't walk 50m but can walk 200m!

Yep that makes sense to me tick both boxs.
