As I have said, this is not a matter for the moderators to either discuss or decide, and that is why I have directed any further enquiries to the email address in my previous post.

Furthermore, it does not fit into the category of Benefits questions, problems and results and is therefore a procedural matter beyond our remit.

Hi CD,

I agree, but as I'm sure all moderators are aware, this is still happening. Perhaps rather than use 'bump' we should use ' moved to top by moderator' or similar.

I've e-malled Tech Support about threads 'disappearing' but had no response, so have today e-mailed Steve and asked to expedite the matter.

Regards.

Jim

Hi Jim,

'Moved to the top by moderator' is fine by me.

The word 'bump' appears to be misplaced when moving a thread to the top of the order. In the context of its use in the forum, there is actually no dictionary definition for the word, and I only started using the expression when others moderators did so.

To be perfectly honest, I never did comprehend what it meant when moving threads to a prominent position within the forum!?

Regards,

CD
