dave i have had a ill health penison since 1996 so my penison was not affected by law change in 2001 that included company penisons in with it ,in other words i still had all my penison and my IC benifit ,this was supposted tobe as long as i claimed IC now they have got rid of this benifit they can take away this from me ,yes you are right i think that £85 is taken into account and for every pound over this fig, 50Pence in the pound is deducted from the IC benifit ,which on my penison of around £250 per week would leave me knothing however you may say i am doing well on penison alone BUT i have paid tax and national ins all my working life to pay for this benifit and also paid for my penison now it it will be taken away from me once the year is up ,so i will lose £400 per month of which i have relyed on as a disabled person

lester i totally under stand were yer comin from ,we pay into a system for years and when we need help from it they make it as hard as they can to stop us,and with this new one it stops us all together getting it , what are diabled people suppose to live on , cap in hand it says that the most needy will benifit from the shake up how ever am one of those people and there taken £400 a month off me come next oct .

gordon but i have been told that even the support group will also be means tested once past by govt ,which you informed me before ,so even people on support group with disabilitys will lose out depending on what other income is in house hold ,so only the very poor of people will get help , going back to supplementry benifit system of the past ,

This is the future,why do we pay into something for 40 years,when if the time comes you are unable to work due to ill heaith, you will get nothing anyway because you did graft hard and earn a pension, I will lose the amount equal to my monthly mortguage paymentnext august, but heck who cares eh.
