Hi,

As you can guess I have MS. The stupid ESA form now give you three options to some of the questions. NO, YES, and IT VARIES.

In my case due to my MS a lot of my problem do vary but I have heard this may not be such a bright idea to put this on the form.

Has anyone come across this problem, any help would be most appreciated.

Hi YZ,

Many members do have similar problems.

It may be advisable to tick the box that is most applicable to your limitations for the majority of the time.

If you don't feel that the tick box option fully covers your personal circumstances go into detail in the spaces provided, or even add extra sheets of A4.

Have you looked at our extensive ESA Guides in the orange MEMBERS ONLY area on the left?.

They are really helpful in completing the ESA50 Questionnaire.

Many thanks for your help and advice.

I sent out my ESA form with all of the info needed. I recd a letter back putting me in the incorrect group (work instead of support) I duly sent off my appeal and waited. A few weeks later I recd another letter saying the case was now going to the tribunal service.

I let xmas go past before I started to worry what to do next. Then out of the blue I recd another letter saying they had looked at the facts and evidence again and now moved me into the support group for 2 years!
So please appeal if you think you have a good case. Good luck.

PS Great web site, keep up the good work.
