Carer,s allowance was created by elljay

I am entitled to HRC and my son looks after me, if he claims carer,s allowance will it just be deducted from my allowance ? If so I may as well just give it to him myself.

No, it will not be deducted, however, if you are receiving the Severe Disability Allowance, it will be affected.
