According to the DLA Unit's own acknowledgement letter which you should receive/should have received, it can take up to eleven weeks to reach a decision on entitlement which includes the request for review of a subsisting DLA award.

If it is going to take longer than eleven weeks, the DLA Unit should write to you and explain the reasons for the delay?
