Hello,
received my acknowledgment letter,
two months after sending my gl24. How long
can I expect to wait before the case is reconsidered?

Hi S,

It's hard to say, it used to be quoted as anything up to 11-12 weeks for a reconsideration, they do seem to be backlogged at the moment, and there seems to be a variance from area to area.

Some members have had a change of decision at reconsideration stage within a week.

As you have received notification of receipt of your GL24, the ball is in their court.

They may send a request to your G.P. for information on your condition, etc.

hello ,
as my case moves toward appeal,
and the second dm says I'm not going to be put into the suppurt group, I'm wondering about the chances of that decision being
reversed, having been told by the second dm that my evidence/letters of support andassessment report( particularly ) give no indicators that I should be in the sg. I know you can't say exactly, but how likely is it,
or not, that a tribunal will overturn two dm's opinions, and the hcp reports' recommendations??

Stephano

The success rate for ESA appeals (where the claimant attends), is a shade under 40%.

There is no breakdown of this figure for appeal to the SG from the WRAG, however, they would still be after two DMs have reviewed the evidence and concluded that the claimant does not meet the criteria.

So,
by implication then, very little point in letting the case go to appeal??
