Confused about IB to ESA was created by MSHusband
Currently my wife is receiving Incapacity Benefit, and has done since 1994, due to her MS. Before that she worked, and paid whatever was needed re:tax and NI.
Assuming the pending ESA claim results in a decision to put her into the support group, what sort of ESA would she receive ? Contribution based, or income-related ? Is there some sort of table to illustrate how household income affects the claim ?
We already lose out quite a bit, because I am unlucky enough to have a job, so it would be nice to know what more to expect.

Any time spent in the Support Group of ESA does not count against this 365 day entitlement.
