New Treatment and Informing Appeal Panel was created by Dalglish60
I'm appealing my ESA Medical after scoring 0 points in June last year.

I now have the Tribunal/Appeal date for the middle of next month. I am so anxious and nervous but I have a CAB rep who is representing me on the day.

My question is I have just been referred by my consultant psychiatrist for added treatment with a clinical psychologist. I've had all the appeal papers in preparation for the tribunal plus medical report from psychiatrist,GP etc etc.

Do I need to inform the appeal panel of this new treatment before my appeal date?

Sory if it's long winded but my nerves are all over the place at present.

As you already have a CAB adviser representing you, it's better that you consult them ,
as they have access to your appeal case files which we don't. Nothing to beat 'face to face' advice.

However, as others may be reading this, there is no harm in informing the Tribunals Service of new treatment, but best to do it before your hearing date, so all panel members will be able to read it prior to appeal.

PLEASE READ THE SPOTLIGHTS AREA OF THE FORUM REGULARLY, OTHERWISE YOU MAY MISS OUT ON IMPORTANT INFORMATION. Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
