I would request a copy of the Decision, a Statement of Reasons, and any scoresheet used in making the Decision.

There shouldn't be any new medical reports, etc. from what you have already received, as only the Tribunal should be able to order these at this stage of your claim.

With an Atos medical on 28th June 2011.

All forms from DWP etc informing me I have no points dated 8th August 2011.

GL24 Appeal forms etc prepared with help of CAB dated 8th August 2011.

ESA assessment rate paid from 31/8/11 and still is. Last IB benefit paid on this date.

ESA Appeal Hearing set for 20th March 2012.

HM Courts/Tribunal letter received dated 5th March 2012 informing me appeal lapsed due to a more favorable revised decision.

In effect won appeal so requested all respective written documents confirming if in wrag or support group etc.

Given above, from what point do DWP calculate component group backpay owed after successful appeal?

I am sorry if this is exhaustive but if you could possibly clarify from which point to point they calculate component group backpay I'd be very grateful.

I think the backpayment goes back to the first day after your IB finished.

I've requested these documents not in subject access request form but a standard letter written to the local office that currently pay the ESA
assessment rate.

Should the request have been( a subject access request)sent to where the Decision Maker initially decided no points etc etc as that's not local but over 80 miles away from my local office.

Just an afterthought.

A SAR is not normally needed, I would give them a couple of weeks before making the request more formal.
