Worried about change of address: member anecdotes?

Hello all, I checked the FAQs and couldn't find an answer to my dilemma. I don't expect any of the mods to take my question on board, I know how busy you are and understand that it may not be possible for you to respond with anything definitive. Instead, I wondered if other members might have been through this and would consider sharing reassurances, warnings, or examples of their own experiences.

I'm in ESA support group (from IB) until July next year. I've also been receiving DLA (both low rates) for 18 months and am due for review in November. I've just been assigned a caseworker at the council to help me find new accomodation and am likely to be moving in the next few weeks. But now I'm terrified that this will affect my claims and/or payments. It's possible that my caseworker will help with any claim issues arising as a result of my being resettled, but I won't meet her until later this week and am already going into panic mode at the thought of another ESA50 or even a re-application for DLA at this stage - I'll have enough on my plate just getting through my move.

Would really appreciate any feedback from those who've moved and their experiences. Cheers everyone!

A change of address will not trigger an ESA or DLA re-assessment. Moving is stressful enough don't add to it unnecessarily :)

Aw, many thanks Gordon! You've really put me at ease, much appreciated. I shall keep you all posted but it sounds as though I really ought to take your kind advice and focus my energy on getting through my move. Bless you, mate :cheer:
