ATOS Medical has any one been to one in Leicester

Good Evening All,

I havent logged in for a while, ive been really depressed.
My CB ESA has now ceased
Ive now got a date for my medical, i really didnt think i'd have to go through it all again ! i filled out the ESA50, and added extra information.
I thought it would have been enough, but yet again, i get to go through the ordeal
The last Health care professional who did my medical, qualified as a GP in Sept 2009 and did my medical in Nov 2009 !!??? I thought they were supposed to have 3 years training afterwards ??
Has anyone been to a medical at Rutland House in Leicester ?
Just getting really anxious, i dont think i can go through another appeal

To the best of my knowledge, once a doctor qualifies as a GP, it will be from the date they satisfy the GMC conditions.

You have to remember that a medical student studying to be a doctor has to study for 5 years, and work in a hospital setting as doctor for a further two years before they decide which field they wish to specialise in.

GP's have to undertake further studies before they can be a GP, and pass even more exams before they can become a Member of the Royal College of GP's (MRCGP)

Health Care Professionals working under contract for the DWP can now be GP's, Consultants, Nurses, Physiotherapists or Occupational Therapists.
