Can someone whose first language is not English bring an interpreter to the assessment, as well as another person for support?

Yes, you can bring an interpreter, and yes, you can bring a companion, however, I cannot find any advice as to whether you can bring an interpreter and a companion at the same time.

The only thing I can suggest is that you raise the problem with ATOS when the medical is arranged.
