There is a FAQ regarding this in the 'spotlights' section at the top of this page

Whilst there is only limited information regarding the implementaion of PIP, and as far as I am aware there has been no statement regarding a cut-off date for the over 65s, as you reach 65 before any of the process starts I don't think you need to worry about being transferred.

Cheers Gorgon
I can probbly look forward to my DLA for a year or 2 till they catch up with me. Everbody will go on to PIPs sooner or later and its score system seems to be based on live style you have, not mobility holdbacks with DLA. Persoally after reading about PIPs info on this site (all day). It looks to me that they have doctored the points system so as too many disabled people will receive less or be dropped out of the system.

There are currently no plans to transfer those over 65 to PIP.

I hope so Mrs Hurtyback as I had a heck of a fight to get my DLA. It was just the issue that I was 65 one month after PIPs would be started
