DLA to PIP transfer was created by melady
My current award for DLA expires in August 2014.I have looked at all the PIP information and think this means I will be transferred anytime after January 2014.
Can I ask if you think I am correct?

Many thanks,

Melady

There are very limited details regarding how existing DLA claimants will be transferred to PIP, this has now been complicated by the Minister for the Disabled stating that the transfer of existing claimants may not start until 2015. Prior to this announcement the most likely, but not confirmed date, would have been your renewal, but now there is no way to say.

Thanks for your reply Gordon.

I thought it was just lifetime or indefinite awards that would not start until after 2015.

Unfortunately my award was for a definite period of 4 years which will expire in Aug 2014.

I will start preparing when the new computerised PIP form is produced.

In the meantime I will enjoy Christmas in a very quiet way and would like to wish one and all seasons greetings and a happy and healthy 2013.
