support group

i received a letter after christmas informing me i been put in support group please could you tell my how do i get copy of this and what would be in this letter as would like to know what points and how long before the next esa form will come though letter box

Hi P,

Well done on gaining entry to the SG !!

If you wish to know how long your award should last before reassessment, (This is known as the prognosis) you can request the ESA85 medical report if you had a face to face (medical) or the ESA85A if you didn't.

This can be done by ringing the Benefits Office that is dealing with your ESA, but any request should be backed up in writing.

Either the ESA85 or ESA85A should also have information as to why you were placed into the SG.
