hello again - I got a letter from the jobcentreplus and thankfully I have placed in the support group! I am so relived and thankful for all the help and advise I have had from this forum and website. I was a bit confused by the letter to start with as all it started out with is ' Your benefit is changing to Employment and support allowance. We will pay Employment and support allowance from the 20th March'. But on reading further it did say I was placed in the support group but now I am wondering how long for as it doesn't give any timeframe as others have written about on here. Also it gives the amount they are going to pay me but it says ' from 20th March to 9th April 2013' so is this until the next 'rise' in the ESA allowance? Anyone any ideas please? I am tempted to ring them but I don't want to sound stupid! Thank you once again for everything this site is amazing.

Congratulations on being placed in the Support Group and thank you for your comments on B&W.

Unfortunately, none of the ESA letters with the exception of the mythical ESA72 include how long until the next assessment, if you ask for your ESA85 medical report, the prognosis should give you an idea of when to expect another ESA50.

Yes, there will be an increase to ESA with effect from 10 April, so you should expect to get another letter notifying you of what you will be paid from then in the next couple of weeks.
