Absolutely petrified, home assessment in 3 weeks.

This has probably been asked so many times, but how long after losing your DLA to PIP do your payments stop?
I would also lose my car like so many other people are doing.
I said in my earlier post that my assessment was in 3 weeks, but it is actually this coming Monday.
It has worried me even more as I have just read that 1 in 3 people with MS have been having their payments cut.

The PIP decision (whatever it is) will come into effect, and your DLA stop, 4 weeks after the decision is made.

I believe that Motability have a little flexibility now with regards to when a car has to be returned. You should ring them if you do not get enhanced mobility and ask what they can do for you.

Had my assessment at home today.
The lady was really nice, but I realise that does not mean anything. She had phoned earlier today to confirm our appointment and arrived within the hours stated.
She was very patient, but even so, I on several occasions I just didn't know what to say as my brain just seemed to stop working.
I think I will have to go to appeal as there were so many things that I forgot to tell her even though I had them written down.

In general, most assessors work to a kind of script. The assessment is a test of your functionality and confirming a few details. Most HCP's really aren't interested in extra things you have to say or tell them as it should all be in the evidence that you submitted. So don't worry about forgeting things.
Now it is over there is no more you can do for now so give yourself a break and try and relax.
As Gordon says give it a couple of days then request the report.

I have phoned and requested a copy of the report today (Wednesday) and have been told that it can take several weeks before I receive it.
The assessor said before she left, "That's the worst part over for you" and I replied " No the worst part is waiting for the decision"
