Hi Gordon,
Apologies, this is every fortnight.
Which is esa plus a top up payment
Where does it state the obvious to me?
Thanks

Were you transferred from another benefit (Incapacity Benefit?) to ESA.
You mention an top-up payment, is this because you were receiving more on the previous benefit?
If this is the case then you are only receiving ESA(CB) as this is the only circumstance which would fit.

Hi Gordon
I'm so sorry about this. I was originally on incapacity benefit since 2002 and then transferred onto esa when the Dwp sent the form through to complete. Once this was done I received a letter it says I'm entitled to contribution based employment and support allowance and I will get £112.05 (my original letter)
My confusion begins on my recent letter page 3 when there is a figure against total income related amount! Why would this be ?
Thank you

Because most DWP letters are c**p.
There is nothing in your post that suggest that you are receiving any ESA(IR).
