A home assessment is not significantly different from one held at the Assessment Providers offices.
There is a section at the back of the PIP Claim guide that covers the assessment and the questions that you will be asked.
You can decide where to hold the assessment and the assessor has no more right than any other visitor to your house to look around.
Even though it is at home I would still recommend that you have someone with you.
