Pip renewal

Had the dreaded brown envelope today - stating pip claim ending in august. Was surprised to find no renewal form, just a letter stating that i need to claim again if i need continued help. Anyone else had this? Surely i havent got to go through process again?

If you have a fixed term award then you were always going to be reassessed.

We had expected the DWP to treat these as renewals as they did for DLA but they seem to be treating at least some of them as requiring a new claim.

Was the previous Decision made at an appeal?
