Appeal

Hi. How long do I have to lodge an appeal after a negative decision?
Also is there a general time scale for an appeal to be dealt with.

You have one month from the date of the Decision for the DWP to receive a Mandatory Reconsideration request from you.

MRs typically take 5-8 weeks with a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 2-4 months although this is rare.
