Hi, first time I've done this so hope I'm doing it right!
My son in in receipt of esa and pip and he would like me to be his appointee, he has autism and dyspraxia. I have filled in the form and today we had a visit which would have made me his appointee except we wanted him to keep control of his money. He has had his own account since he was 17, he's now 24. He can't use telephones and doesn't go anywhere on his own and finds filling in forms impossible. Is there anyway i can still be his appointee which leaves him some financial independence?
