DLA to PIP

Hello everyone, I've received the dreaded letter inviting me to claim PIP, my question is this, will my DLA stop while they assess my claim for PIP?
I don't claim ESA or anything else so I need my DLA.

Providing you meet the deadlines for making a claim for PIP and returning your forms and you attend an assessment if required, then your DLA will remain in payment until four weeks after a Decision has been made on your PIP claim.
