Dla to PIP

I'm doing my son's dla to pip changeover as he is now 16. I have received a letter from them advising me to apply by 14th July 2017. I was just wondering if you could tell me, if I apply on 10th July will I have until the 10th August 2017 to return the completed form to them. Sorry I forgot to say I am his appointee so I will be calling on his behalf. Thanks for your help.

There will be a letter with the PIP2 that tells you when it needs to be back with the DWP, probably around 14 August. There is a two week extension that can be requested if needed.
