ESA and pip medical

I have to submit forms for both ESA and pip as they have both expired. Will I have to undergo two 'medical assessments' or can they use one for both claims?

I'm afraid it is quite possible, the criteria for the two benefits are sufficiently different that an assessment report for one cannot substitute for an assessment for the other.
