Pip award query

I was awarded Standard Rate Daily Living on the 11/10/17. It is now 23/10/17. I should have been awarded at least the standard mobility rate. I sent extra evidence after sending the application form and I rang pip the day after my assessment to check they were using my new evidence. I don’t think they have as there’s no mention of my severe knee damage in my report. I have just sent a letter today 23/10/17 asking for a copy of the Atos report but I probably won’t get in in time to ask for mandatory reconsideration. Do I get extra time to ask because I’ve requested the Atos report ? Or is it still the same deadline?

No they won't extend the time for you to request an MR so don't wait for the report if it means that the DWP will not receive your request within the one month normally allowed.

You do have the DM's Statement of Reasons so you should have some idea how the Decision was made.
