Some thoughts;
- You need to explain, in detail, what a meltdown means in practical terms and why it stops him from continuing to follow the route.
- You have said that he has someone with him when he goes out but not why. Remember, this is about the things that he cannot do, not the things that he doesn't do, so you need to explain why the person needs to be with him but be careful, this is also about your son following a route, not someone directing him along one.
- You mention the problems he has when he gets to the shops, these aren't relevant to the Going Out activity and I think you are diluting your message by including them, certainly mention them if you are trying to score for Communication and/or Mixing with Other People.
- You mention it is a busy road, does he understand where and how to cross it? Are there other dangers when he is out?
- You mention overwhelming psychological distress but never actually state that your son suffers from this when he is out.

I can’t get This link to load whether I type it in paste
It in in the forum or on the web or on here I’m just refilling my sons pip he’s 26 with no official diagnosis but a consultant at the hospital I met, (I have stage 4 bowel cancer) has an autistic son and has offered to be the official point of contact after speaking to and meeting my son, he said he doesn’t NEED an official diagnosis - I really need some good ideas on how to remember or fill in all I do for him that is automatic as much as I breathe - he doesn’t leave the house how can I find this link

Hi Ellie73123
I'm sorry, but I don't know what link you're referring to. If you want help to fill out the review form, you can look at the guide to PIP claims and reviews. I don't know that it will give you automatic help, but there are suggestions on how to answer each question. The review information is from page 128 www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/pip
