is esa paid at the right times,no pay for 44 days was created by lee-d
hello, my esa has been a little eratic lately, its was always paid every 14 days, like clock work, then after my last normal 14 day payment on the 27 feb, things changed, the next payment was 22 days later and paid on the 20th march, and this was for the same amount i always get, so 8 days late but the same amount paid so i lost 8 days, the next payment was on the 6 april this was paid on 17 days after the last late (22 day) payment , again same amount so i loose 3 days, the next payment was on 22 april, i got paid the same amount, but 2 days late, so i lost 2 days here also,
and i havent been payed since the 22nd april, so its now 44 days ,and out of that 30 days late missing also i presume?, there phone is closed?

Your ESA should be paid every two weeks, I can't offer any suggestions as to why this is not happening, you need to contact the DWP, the Helpline is open, the hours were restricted but I believe that they have now returned to normal.

gordon i have a shared house and my mail goes missing sometimes, is there any chance or much chance, dwp sent something,
i should have replyed to or done something , that i never got?,
if i only just redid my esa renewal , just 6 months ago, and i didnt even need an assesment as they know im very ill, i didnt need one, for the last 2 renewals,
so they know im very ill, and like i said only just done my forms again ,
what chance would they have sent something, that i never got - that i would need to have done something or reply too?, like renew my esa, as thats all i would usually have to do,
because i guess this is the only reason they would have stopped my money - as 45 days and no esa is looking like its maybe been stopped i fear, even after the mess up with my payments?,
do you have other people on here that just dont get a payment for ages?, i thought it might be because of coronavirus ?,
thank you for any help

Hi lee-d
The only way of finding out is to phone DWP, I phoned them yesterday (Friday) at 10:15 am and only waited 15 minutes for someone to answer and they were very helpful.
Use the number Gordon gave you.
