Tricky question should my PIP be backdated?

Tricky question should my PIP be backdated? was created by marieukxx
So back at the start of the year I had a review form which I filled in and sent off. Then there was covid and I got a letter saying it was extended due to that until Feb 2021. Then I got a letter saying I had a telephone assessment a few weeks ago which I have had. If I get enhanced which it looks like from the assessors report I may due to a new condition would it be backdated to when they asked the report to back by originally which was March.

Hi Chi

If this was a new claim for PIP then it should be backdated to the day that the claim was made.

If it was a review then then PIP will be backdated to the day after the award ended, this is normally four weeks after the actual Decision was made.
