Not surprised you are confused -so am I. He needs to ring and ask - because the form for Attendance Allowance is not the same as the PIP one.
He needs to know the PIP criteria and also know that he has sent in enough information.
I would ask for the assessment date to be changed if it was me so at least he understand what PIP is all about!
