Pension age before end of awatd was created by crazydad
Hi, my wife was awarded her 2nd 3 year PIP award in January this year, this means it is valid until January 2024. She reaches pension age in the middle of 2023, this should mean going onto the "light touch" awards after this latest one. BUT, a line in the award letter states that they will be "in touch" sometime after January 2023, is this a warning that they might try and kick her off the scheme before she reaches pension age? Thanks

Hi Crazydad

No, there is anything sinister about them saying they will be in touch. With an end date of Jan 2024 you would expect them to review any time after Jan 2023. At that time the system should flag up her age and they should contact your wife about a light touch review.

Well her review form slammed onto the door mat today, 8 weeks before her 66th birthday. :angry:
