If someone is getting AA and pension credit, can a relative (who gets PIP and ESA) move in with them without it affecting their benefit?

Hi Jatt

That is a hard question to answer as we do not have enough information.

From the topic heading it states PC and SDP, if a relative moves in with somebody who is receiving AA and PC due to receiving a SDP, providing the person moving in also receives a qualifying benefit for SDP element then the person receiving AA and PC benefits should not be affected. If the person was a partner then that may be a different story and I would advise the person to seek advice from a Welfare Rights Organisation who can take all their circumstances into consideration.
