So Iv been trying to get the dwp to send me out the UC85 report so I can see what has been written. I did get put into the lcwra without an assessment or anything but Iv learnt from previous issues that it’s handy just to have all the paperwork and stuff. But they are not giving it to me willingly they have said I need to ring the assessment people to get it I know I won’t get it from them and Iv even said to dwp about you get sent the report and then a decision maker makes the final decision and they have said nope we don’t get the whole report blah blah Blah and then they asked me why do i want it… Any tips on how to get them to give me a copy of that report? I have a feeling they didn’t do one and just went on my old esa medical report at the end of 2013 which was ongoing but I had about a 2 month break from esa to uc so had been sending sick notes in from March till beginning of October this year. Any advice of getting them to cough up so to speak this report would be great. Thank you.
If you had a paper assessment then the assessors report is called UC 85a. You can not get a copy until a decision has been made which in your case a decision has been made.
If you are struggling to get hold of your assessors report you may want to contact your MP for help.
Let us know how you get on.
