I have a letter dated 08/10/2020, saying I have a PIP extension until Sept 2022. Yet, I have received forms for re-assessment today to complete and send in by 12th November 2021
Hi Linda, Do you have to comply? Unfortunately I fear so. In previous instances where forms have been sent early etc the answer from DWP always seems to be you have to fill them in. The danger of not complying is that it may put your benefit claim at risk. By all means contact DWP and ask if there is a reason why you have been sent the forms. I suspect that that because there is such a backlog at present, they send forms out early? The extension letter should at least mean that you will continue to get PIP pending the assessment. I hope this helps. LL26
