Pip leap , mental health was created by jarnold
Hi all
I have had a mandatory reconsideration on my pip /leap
And they still refuse to give me points on overwhelming psychological stress, I have a very long history of mental health , suicidal, anxiety , care plans going back years,
So they took away my points from 2016 (nov) this is under the leap .
I have now logged an appeal , am I right in thinking all the evidence from my past will automatically be sent up to tribunal as the Dwp have untill 13 th December to respond ? Or should I get my past mental health reports and a current doctors letter ? I already have mobility problems and got 10 points and but I feel they are wrong and should grant me the min 4points as I always have my career with me and can’t go out alone due to my mental health , the ASOS reports about my mental health and long history of and says no chance of improving but in the same breath they say no signs of anxiety even tho they do mention bipola, suicidal , hypomania , hilucinations etc .
Thank you in advance for any help .

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Jarnold, all recent (within 3 years and sometimes longer) and relevant information will be utilised at Tribunal.
I would wait for the DWP to respond and then if your case is going to go to tribunal, it would be a good idea to send anything that may help you at Tribunal stage, including letters from health professionals who know your issues.
You will get a bundle of numbered papers in due course with every piece of evidence that will be used including your application and appeal papers.
Sometimes PIP do revise their decision and you don't have to go to tribunal, so I would for what they decide first and then send any relevant paperwork older or new, as long as it was after the date you originally applied.
