2.5 hour PIP telephone assessment was created by Ssmillie
I too have recently had a 2.5 hour telephone assessment. Similar disabilities to yourself EDS Fibro Osteoarthritis IBS-D moderate to severe OSA, plus many other bits! I too had put it off years but everything is just getting too much now to cope.
I was worried about the length of the call but also recorded it for personal use as I have tremendous brain fog. My claim has been ongoing since May! Had notice the report went in but still awaiting outcome.
Can you request the report before you’ve received the outcome and where do I call to get this please? Figure I’ll start to compare it to the recording now instead of sitting and waiting. I’m not expecting a positive outcome so want to be ready to appeal/MR.
thanks for reading xx

Hi Ssmillie
Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
I've moved your post to its own topic, we ask members not to post their questions in other member's topics as it can lead to the wrong advice being given or taken.
In answer to your question 'Can you request the report before you’ve received the outcome' the answer is yes you can, you can request a copy 48 hrs after your assessment or when you get a text message from DWP saying they have received your assessment. Quite often we hear on the forum members being told they have to wait until a decision has been made, this is not true, either ask to speak to a manager or put the phone down and call again and hopefully you will speak to another more knowledgeable call handler.
To contact DWP for an assessment, call the PIP help line: 0800 121 4433, best time to phone is first thing in the morning.
Don't forget to use our guides to help with any MR. www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip
