I am, I think, due to get an ESA50 form in mid-December. Does anyone know if reassessments are running on schedule or are there delays at the moment? Also, what are the chances of a phone assessment? I really struggle on the phone for various reasons to do with my conditions and am wondering if I can insist on a face-to-face assessment,
The DWP have been fighting a backlog for some time - and some ESA reviews have been delayed. When you can expect one it's impossible to say. Some members have rung to enquire and most have been told they don't know when the reviews will take place. I do believe a couple were given an approximate date but it was much later than they were expecting,
When you do get a review - you can request a face to face assessment and explain why a phone assessment would not be appropriate.
