Pip renewal was created by janwhy
I filled in my Pip Renewal in July/August and sent it on the 16th August. I have contacted them twice since, as to date i have not received anything from them, even though I am still getting paid as my Pip doesn’t run out until June 22, but my Motability Car Lease ran out in November, but have extended it until what ever happens. They said it would take about 8 weeks before I heard anything, it is now 4 months and nothing, I know they have a back log to go through, but surely 4 months should be enough time to make a decision one way or another.

Any suggestions as to what to do and who to contact would be great.

Hi Titchy

I'm sorry to say that you are not alone and many people are waiting at least four months or more. I'm afraid you can only keep doing what you have done and ring every couple of weeks to find out the current status of your claim. You can ask the question of any call handler who takes your call.

Hi Titchy,

Just to add that the waiting times may even get longer due to the latest variant of the dreaded covid. If it is spreading as fast as is being reported, 'man' hours are certainly going to be lost.

Sorry to put a damper on things, but just something else to take into consideration.

Fingers X'd your case will be near the top of the pile.

Regards,

Phrank.
