Hello, apologies if this is a bit of an obvious question. I’ve just begun the process of applying for ESA. After submitting the initial online application, I’ve had a text from the DWP to say they will contact me by 28th January. Will this be by phone call, or by post, can anyone tell me please? I’m just wondering if I’ll have the paper form to fill in, or whether someone from the DWP will want to take my answers over the phone. Thank you!
No need to apologise for any questions. That’s what this forum is all about.
Normally, after the first text (that you’ve already received) you should receive a further text with a time and date for a telephone appointment when they will ring you.
Dependent on how that goes they may then call you into their offices should further information be required but this does not always happen.
I hope this helps and good luck
Pete
