we were waiting in the video wait room for the pip assesment when they rang and postponed it .
is that common?
i'm so gutted - so much stress getting ready for it

I can't tell you whether it is common for a video assessment because not many people have reported having one - but it does sometimes happen with telephone assessments. Five minutes before is most unfair. You may be too stressed to ask but I would want to know the cause for such a last-minute cancellation. That is most unfair on you.

That isn't good enough in my view. It's entirely up to you, but you might want to put in a complaint. That's very shabby so close to it happening.
