Hi i completed with the help of CAB a renewal PIP form and sent back end of December. I am concerned for a f2 f I don’t have anyone to attend with me, and realise I will need that when an appointment arrives. Any ideas on where or how I could get support to attend. I don’t really want them to come to my home it would unnerve me. It is likely as it has been before, about 25 mins drive away I no longer drive, thank you.
Face to face assessments have not really started up again. I have only heard of one member having a face to face assessment. People are being offered telephone assessments and if you need help on that call, a support person can dial into the same call. The DWP have not renewed home visits at the current time. If by any chance you were called for a face to face assessment, you could appeal and request a telephone assessment.
