PIP . 1043 Form was created by Joyce6
I had to apply for & was transferred from DLA to PIP on 8 July 2019 with the award dates 22 May 2019 to 3 April 2022 . I got a further letter dated 8 January 2021 re the covid delays saying that my PIP award has been extended until 3 January 2023 , however , this morning 11 February 2022 I have received a PIP . 1043 form to review my award which has to be returned by 2 March . Is this fair when I've been told that my award had been extended - has anyone else experienced this ? Is this a new form as it's different from previous ones I've received ? Thanks .

Hi Joyce6
Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
We have heard from quite a few forum members who received an extension only to get a review form a few weeks later.
The form you have reveived is a review form, treat the form as if you were applying form new. We have information in our guide on how to complete the form: www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip

Morning. They have extended PIP awards so that they have time to process the reviews. If you need more time to complete your review form, phone up for an extension.
