Which PIP guide to use? was created by Knitterly
Hi,
I'm in the process of completing my pip review form and was trying to decide which guide to use.
Above the guides it says if your form has the date January 2021 on the bottom left hand side of the page then you should use the new guide and if it has an earlier date to use the old guide.
The review form I have been sent (pip. 1043) doesn't have a date on it apart from the date it was sent. I'm presuming that means I should use the old form because it is a paper form but wondered if someone could confirm that for me please.
Thank you!

Hi Knitterly
Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is.
Welcome to Benefits and Work
It is quite hard to tell you which guide to use, one way to tell is to check in the guides as to the questions being asked on the form.
Download both guides and then check them against your form, you will soon tell the correct one. I believe DWP started using the new forms from January last year but I am not sure if it was across the whole region.
