Hello I hope you can help. my daughter has waited 11 months for a telephone assessment for UC. I waited in all day. The. They rang to change it to later in the day. When they hadn’t called I rang and they said that I had missed my appointment. My phone was in my hand all day waiting. They have now sent me a face to face appointment instead of the phone call. how do I complain about this. I know nothing about UC or the process involved. my anxiety is through the roof. Any advice would help. Thanks
I've moved your post to its own topic, we ask members not to post their questions in other member's topics as it can lead to the wrong advice being given or taken.
Am I correct in assuming that it was a work capability assessment?
I can't tell you who to complain to as you did not mention who the assessor was. If you click on the Guides tab at the top you will see FAQ, click on FAQ and look at either item 4 or 5 , it will give you information about complaining.
You may also want to contact your MP and get them involved, we have heard of this happening a few times on the forum.
